Genre of Doc 3

This semester of ENGL 11101 has been full of writing. Our Doc1 and Doc2 were both informative documents. Doc 3 was very different in terms of genre. Doc 3 is a persuasive document. Our job was persuade undecided college students to vote for our preferred candidate. This is a completely different genre. We have to use certain tactics to accurately persuade our readers. If by the end of our paper we don’t end up persuading them then our paper was a failure. Persuasive essays are the hardest of the genres. However, if you approach them in the right way then you will succeed in your persuasion of your audience.
